Why do I need to get my gutters cleaned?
Gutters direct the flow of rainwater and snow-melt to protect your home, foundation, and surrounding landscaping from erosion. When gutters are left unchecked, leaves, dirt, and other unwanted materials can build up. These debris can clog both the gutters and the down spouts, leading to an overflow of water. This buildup and eventual overflow of water can cause major damage to the exterior and/or interior of your home. The overflowing water resulting from dirty gutters can drip downward, rotting your siding and potentially wreaking havoc on your foundation, and in some cases, can lead to basement flooding.
